Message from the founder: I founded this organization with a passion for making a positive impact in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. As someone who has experienced firsthand the challenges that come with hearing differences, I understand the isolation and frustration that many individuals face.
Our foundation's mission is to empower those with hearing challenges by providing them with the resources, equipment, and support they need to live full and meaningful lives.
Everyone deserves equal access to opportunities; hearing differences should never stop someone from reaching their full potential.
We're all united under One Dream.

Dr. Mark Felton
MD, MBChB, MSc, FCRS
Dr. Felton is a pediatric otolaryngologist at BC Children’s Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia.
His extensive experience in the field of medical education and research demonstrate his passion for improving the lives of children with hearing challenges.
Ellen Tian
MBA
Ellen has a background in public service, having worked for 18 years with the Provincial Government Ministries of Justice, Health, and Human Resources.
Currently a real estate professional, she is passionate about supporting youth and advocating for her community.
Connie Ding
CPA
Connie has been active in the finance sector for 15 years, currently working with the Sea To Sky School District as an Accounting and Data Manager.
Connie is highly experienced in public sector financial reporting, and is committed to providing the best service to the community.
Amy Hu
AB, BEc
Amy has spent 20 years working in non-profit organizations and union associations, supporting women and union staff.
She is dedicated to fighting for equality and ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities to reach their full potential.

Anton Ko
VP of Finance and Information
Anton is a second-year student at UC Irvine who aspires to be a catalyst for positive change.
He is committed to offering equal opportunities to those with hearing challenges by ensuring that all private information is secure and all funds are used for the benefit of the client.
Zhiyu Yang
VP of Events
Zhiyu is a Grade 11 student who wants to contribute to his community.
As VP of Events, he turns his compassion into action, championing events for One Dream Foundation. He identifies strongly with One Dream's goal for all to achieve equal access to hearing equipment and opportunities.
Johnny Dong
Director of Communications
Johnny is a first-year University of Toronto student who is dedicated to making a difference in the world.
In One Dream, Johnny organizes and coordinates communication to raise funds for hearing equipment in support of equality for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
Wida Hazheer
Director of Social Media
Wida is a Grade 11 student passionate about raising awareness around hearing loss.
With a commitment to creating accessible digital spaces, Wida works to elevate the voices of individuals with hearing challenges and to ensure that the foundation’s message reaches a wide audience.
Ella Almeida
Director of Social Media
Ella is a first-year at University of Victoria, who plans to pursue a career in medicine after graduation.
Her goal is to eliminate the stigma surrounding hearing differences by raising awareness. She plans to leverage a digital platform to amplify her efforts and support those in need.
Wallace Chen
Treasurer
Wallace is a Grade 11 student who is eager to create positive change and aspires to be a leader in his community.
Wallace is committed to raising awareness about the challenges that deaf and hard of hearing individuals experience. In One Dream, he supports through his fiery accounting skills!
Chenchen Zhang
Secretary
Chenchen, a first-year at Simon Fraser University, is the secretary of One Dream Foundation.
Driven by a deep care for others, he’s dedicated to the organization of this NGO. His goal is to ensure that both the foundation and the children it supports have the tools they need to thrive.
Danny Dong
Outreach Coordinator
Danny is a Grade 10 student who has strong organizational skills and has led outreach for many events, even including TEDx.
He hopes to use his abilities to help children with hearing challenges gain greater access to equal opportunities, making a positive impact and spreading hope.
